Abstract

Quality assurance (QA) in academic settings is a systematic process to determine whether the provided services meet the requirements of the society. In order to consistently ensure that the process and the services are reliable enough, application of quality assurance standards (QAS) is a must. Thus, the purpose of this research article is to illustrate the impacts of implementing of quality assurance standards on teaching methods of the bilingual instructors at Kabul University. In addition, the level of achievements that have been made will be outlined, the challenges will be specified and necessary recommendations will be provided. The result of the study demonstrates that how teaching methodology has been changed through applying QAS in different faculties at Kabul University. This study employs a qualitative content analysis, so conducting interviews with the faculty members and using survey questionnaire are the supportive tools for collecting relevant data.
